클레임을 전할 때

1. I'm afraid I have to make a complaint.
(유감스럽게도 불만을 가질 수 밖에 없습니다.)

2. There're some problems with you machines.
(귀사의 기계에 약간의 문제가 있습니다.)

3. I'm not happy with the products you've sent to us.
(귀사가 보내준 제품이 만족스럽지 않습니다.)

• 클레임의 내용을 말할 때

4. Three units were damaged on arrival.
(3유닛이 도착시에 손상되어 있었습니다.)

5. The quality is inferior.(품질이 열등합니다.)

6. The goods we received were not what we ordered.
(주문한 것이 아닌 제품을 받았습니다.)

• 미지불에 대한 클레임 전할 때

7. We haven't received payment for invoice No.5.
(당사는 인보이스 5번에 대한 결제를 받지 못했습니다.)

8. We haven't received your remittance yet.
(귀사의 송금을 아직 받지 못했습니다.)

9. The bill is now 30 days overdue.
(그수표는 30일이 경과되었습니다.)

10. You still owe us $500.
(귀사는 500달러를 아직 내지 않았습니다.)

• 미지불에 대한 요망을 전할 때

11. Could you let us have your check by May 5th?
(5월 5일에 귀사의 수표를 보내주실 수 있겠습니까?)

12. Could you remit the balance by return?
(잔액을 되돌려 송금해 주시겠습니까?)

13. Would you explain why the invoice is still outstanding?

• 어음을 칭하는 단어 : note, draft, bill
a dishonored bill : 부도어음.
a bill due in 3 month : 3개월 어음.
a bill for $100 : 100달러짜리 어음.
a long(short) bill : 장기(단기)어음.
a discount bill : 할인어음.
a bill of exchange : 환어음.
